Enterprise ViewJiangsu tyre factory of Shanghai tyre rubber (group) joint stock company Ltd. is a national large enterprise. It is one important factory fixed by Chemical Industry Department to produce tyre and heavy duty tyre. It is the largest rubber industry enterprise in Jiangsu province.

The company has the ability to produce 1,200,000 suits of tyres,10,000,000 suits of heavy duty tyres every year and the annual output value amounts to 700,000,000 yuan. There is 3,600 workers, more than 500 technicians. It has six branch factories: tyre factory, rubber factory, Jinhai tyre company, rubber refinery factory, rubber machinery factory and rubber products factory, and one tertiary industry company. There are a rubber science and research institute, a center laboratory , rubber testing center of Jiangsu province, and a worker education center within the company.

There are 10 series, more than 100 types tyres and Heavy duty tyres, most of them are national A or B class or provincial excellent products. Famous brand "JIA" is well-known all over the country earlier in 1960s,so it is said that JIA tyre is the best in the world. In 1993 it obtained DOT authentication of American quality standard, and became one of the 100 largest rubber products enterprises, one of the 100 largest chemical industry enterprises, one of the 50 industry enterprises which have the best economic benefits in the same line. Its products cover more than 20 countries and districts in the world, and more than 20 internal provinces and cities.

JIA tyre for heavy load, light trucks and agrimotors is entitled "96¡¢97 Jiangsu famous products".
