It is used in radial tyres for auto, truck and plane, etc.

The steel cord for radial tyre has the characters of high strength, high tenacity, bearing fatigue, high thermal conductivily and soft, etc.
The tyres with steel cords are strong and durable, safe and reliable in high-speed dring, good elasticity, diffusing heat quickly, anti-sliding, avoiding cutting and impaling and can save petrol about 8-10%.
TECHNICAL TRAGETS:
The filament's surface has even brass plating. Demand:
(1) composition of the copper is 66-70%, Zinc, 30-34%, and no scars, grease, rust and other medley; (2) The numbers of welding points in the BS 40-BS 60 can't exceed three, residual torsion is less ¡À3r/6m; (3) Cord diameter, lay length, lay direction, linear density, Breaking force and Thickness of coating should agree to GB 11181-89.TECHNICAL LEVEL:
