Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group Company is one of the ten biggest enterprises groups which Jiangsu Province emphasizingly grow. Based on importing advanced technologies, XCMG continously develops high promium and high tech new products. There have been 30 series and over 200 varieties of products, which are 14 of 16 categories totally in construction machinery industry. The prime products are lifting equipment, road construction equipment, loading equipment, concrete equipment, special purpose vehicles and pneumatic tools etc. The components are special chassis of construction equipment, driving axles, gear cases, cabs and steel castings etc. They are distributed to over 40 oversea countries and areas. Some of them have been granted the qualification of ISO9001 quality systems.
XCMG is establishing the new segments for growth, namely instruments, air conditioners, textile machinery, plastic machinery and information development.
Now, 18 Sino-foreign equity joint ventures have been formed in China. Several selling centres are set up in USA, Germany, Japan, Middle East and Southeast Asia. Caterpillar Xuzhou Ltd. is a joint venture between XCMG and Caterpillar Inc., producing the world class hydraulic excavators.
